Make sure your website matters with these tips

In today’s digital age, your website is like your digital doormat. It’s why the BT team is so excited to have this new and improved space to show off to you.
If you have a website already, that’s great! If you don’t have one, there are several avenues you can take to remedy the situation. Trust us, we know, but how do you make sure your website really shines? Here are five things we tried to do with our redesign.

- Publish a blog. If you don’t already have a blog, start one. The posts don’t have to be thousands of words long. (This post certainly won’t be.) Just make sure to post regularly and be engaging.
- Feature customer reviews. There’s no better way to showcase your skills than to have past clients write you a testimonial. Online reviews are a great way to build trust and get referrals. Thank you to our customers who have already reviewed us on Facebook and Google.
- Make it easy to navigate. With all the technology and resources available today, visitors get impatient if a website is hard to navigate. They’ll leave your site and forget about you just like that. Consider hiring a designer or using one of the simple templates available at next to nothing.
- Optimize it for mobile. Not having a mobile-friendly website will hinder your site and could hurt your business. People are searching for things on their phones all the time, and you want to make sure you’re putting your best foot forward for them, too.
- Include video. Having videos on your website is a great way to engage visitors, and it also helps your Google ranking. All it takes is having a YouTube channel to import the clips from and then you’re good to go.
